a care centre for vulnerable children and families

Mama Sipiwe Solomons, a nurse and midwife, saw the overwhelming need for feeding and caring for the many vulnerable children in her area. In 2008 she and her husband Pastor Solly Solomons established Hosanna Church and Community Projects. The community projects which is the social and health care arm of the church provide a feeding and activity scheme for orphans, gives hospice and home based care services for TB, HIV/AIDS infected and affected families in the communities around Hazyview in Mpumalanga.

In 2009 Sipiwe became a Clover Mama Africa under the support of Clover dairy company.

Community Services Rendered

    Orphans and Vulnerable Children

80 Orphans and vulnerable children come daily to our centre. We provide them with meals and activate them physically and mentally. The aim is to increase their quality of life and to reduce poverty and crime. Another 25 who are living beyond walking distance from the centre get food packages and medical support whenever funds are available.
