About US
Welcome to Hosanna Church and Community Projects – a beacon of hope and support for those in need. Our mission is simple yet profound: to make a lifetime of difference for orphans, children, and young people in dire circumstances, along with vulnerable members of the local communities battling life-threatening illnesses.
Founded in 2008 by the compassionate and dedicated nurse and midwife, Mama Sipiwe Solomons, and her husband, Pastor Solly Solomons, our organization was born out of a deep sense of responsibility to care for the numerous vulnerable children in our area. Witnessing the overwhelming need for nourishment and care, Mama Sipiwe and Pastor Solly established Hosanna Church and Community Projects, which quickly became the social and health care arm of the church.
Our community projects serve as a lifeline, offering a comprehensive feeding and activity scheme for orphans and providing vital hospice and home-based care services to families affected by TB and HIV/AIDS in the communities surrounding Hazyview, Mpumalanga.
Through the unwavering support of Clover dairy company, Mama Sipiwe became a proud recipient of the esteemed Clover Mama Africa program in 2009. Under this umbrella, we have continued to expand our reach and impact, carrying out our mission with even greater determination.

Community Services Rendered
Orphans and
Vulnurable Children
Every day, 80 orphans and vulnerable children come to our center, seeking solace and support. We provide them with nutritious meals and engage them in physical and mental activities, igniting their spirits and fostering growth. Our ultimate goal is to enhance their quality of life while combating poverty and crime in the community.
Additionally, we extend our care to another 25 children who live beyond walking distance from the center, ensuring they receive essential food packages and medical assistance whenever funds are available.
JOB
CREATION
In collaboration with The Independent Development Trust of South Africa (IDT), we are actively engaged in a Job Creation Project, benefiting one hundred and four (104) unemployed individuals at present.
As an integral part of this initiative, we take full responsibility for their recruitment, salary disbursement, and diligent follow-up on matters such as absenteeism and performance. Our comprehensive reporting to IDT ensures transparency and accountability throughout the process.
